I'm going to bake my famous Carrot Cake today! *drool* It's so yummy! I'm mkaing it for my mum because I missed her 50th birthday when I was away. I really enjoy baking lately, which is bad because I really want to lose some weight.

Mum & I have decided to cut our normal amount of food in half - we've done it for the last few days and neither of us have felt particularly hungry. It just goes to show that we don't NEED the huge amount of food that we have been eating.

In medical news - I am currently taking only 5mg of Steroids and I don't think that I have felt better! I'm hoping this means that I am now in remission. :D

I finally finished sorting out the Fan Forum Graphics Team this morning... pretty much! I had been putting off doing it because there was quite a lot to do, but now we're good. :) And hopefully getting a new Member today! Oh plus I uploaded the brush set that I pretty much always use on my graphics - it's a good one for any type of Digital Design/Art - Download from Sendspace

ETA: My Mum just made fun of me because when she came into the kitchen the blinds were shut and I sheepishly had to admit to her that I had closed them because I didn't want my Grandma to peer in the window and make me jump when she got here... she made me re-open them, but luckily I was in another room when my Grandma did arrive - but she admitted that she had tried to peer in the window but I wasn't there! LOL

I got back from Rome on Saturday, but I haven't had a chance to update about it yet. I wanted to wait until I had all my pictures sorted out, but that is taking a while.

Yes, the reason we decided to go to Rome WAS so that we could see Twilight without having to wait for it to come out in our respective countries, but it wasn't the only reason - we did want to see Rome. I know that a lot of people criticise the messages Twilight gives out and say that it is crap without reading it just from what they have heard about it and they're entitled to their opinion but...

I love Twilight for myself. I never like to go along with a crowd and I personally really enjoyed all of the books and the movie. My friend recommended Twilight to me and I ended up reading all of the books in a week. I didn't really know that they were so popular at the time but I'm glad that they are. The writing isn't the best and the storyline can be a bit cheesy in places, but some of it must be smart and appealing for it to have such a large fanbase. Perhaps I don't think so deeply about it as other people and perhaps they shouldn't - don't read it if you don't want to, but if you haven't that means you shouldn't judge it.

Anyhoo, I've decided to go to the Twilight premiere in London next Wednesday! I finish work at 3pm and then I'll go on up there.

Firstly, I want to point out that I enjoyed reading Breaking Dawn and thought that the book was good. However, it could have been brilliant if Stephenie had more of an insight into what the teen fans actually want to read in the book. I thought she did before I read Breaking Dawn, but while reading it, I realised that she doesn't really.

Some people are complaining that it's over airbrushed, but I don't see the problem with airbrushing... it just makes people look prettier ;) (though I could be biased because I would love to do that for a job! Hey now I have a degree in Digital Media maybe I can!)

I got the impression though that the job was a lot more about writing content and updating a website instead of designing things, so I'm not sure if I'm suited to it after all and won't mind at all if I don't get offered it... plus then I can have a fun summer with just my part-time work ;).

Last night Jack, Rodney and I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Jack gave me a new purse (purple metallic) for my Christmas present bless him! He'd been meaning to give it to me for quite a while. ;) Then we went to Nandos for dinner before heading over to the cinema.

I can't believe that people are saying that Nikki/Rosalie looks fat! No wonder people have so many issues with self image. It's awful!

I also don't think that Rob/Edward's head looks too big. Men's heads are always larger than women's and it looks fine to me. His hair might make it look a bit bigger and I think that Kristen/Bella has a small head, but it's not disproportionate.

I figure that when I do icon posts that a lot of people see, I could also pimp out...
