Dracula Dead & Loving It is one of my favorite movies of all time! I watched it today with my family + Grandparents and I noticed that David DeLuise is one of the fainting interns in the scene where we first see Van Helsing LMAO!

Our cherry tree was so gorgeous last Sunday that I had to take a picture! Most trees are still green here, but that one always changes early.

Sadly my parents want to cut it down and put up a summer house. :(

We also planted this tree as a memorial to our dog Sophie on Sunday. It's a conference pear tree because she used to love eating pears so much!

We put the ashes from her basket (we burnt it) in the hole with it.

Quick entry before bed!

I can't believe how well organised I've been the past couple of days! First proper day of my job search and I did so many things! I even made a spread sheet with all the details about each job and who to contact etc. I didn't even procrastinate! Apart from to watch the 2 hour House episode & an hour of The Tudors with my Mum when she got home.

My CV now looks AWESOME! High Five!

Also, I'm obsessed with How I Met Your Mother - I'm on Season 4 now (I watched Season 3 in 2 days!) and I can't stop watching.

I heart Neil Patrick Harris so much... plus I think I have a crush on Barney :O

Myka & Claudia: PETE!?
Pete: CHICKS!?

LOVE this show!

Funny that Myka is from Colorado Springs LOL it's a nice little shout out to Stargate me thinks. ;) Plus, does Warehouse 13 remind anyone else of Bones? It's not a copycat show in anyway, but some of the aspects are similar.

Vampire Diaries: boooooooring Twilight wannabe. I give up after the second episode. Blah! It's like "brooding vampire brood brood, drama brood brooding main chick brood" depressing. It's kinda like Buffy and Twilight but without all of the good parts. The only thing it has going for it is that Ian Sommerhalder is a hottie.

Flash Forward: gave me chills! I wasn't even going to watch it, but I really enjoyed it. The only problem is that I think it's going to be one of those really depressing shows with no humor whatsoever. I think I'll stick with it for a while and see how it goes though because the pilot was fantastic.

I'm working tonight (first day of work in a couple of months) and I just realised that I have my first driving lesson tomorrow EEK! Nervous! Wish me luck! I'm going to have to look at all of the stuff and make sure there isn't anything I need to do before hand.

Off to make homemade Quesadillas and Salsa for lunch! *drool*

Thanks to [info]talkofcake I have just read the second part of the Robin Dunne/Amanda Tapping Q&A I linked to in my previous post. You can find it here!

My absolute favorite part is the following:

Amanda: You can’t forget Holden MacPhillips.
Robin: Holden MacPhillips, yes. There was a man who kept emailing and phoning [producer] Martin Wood and sending flowers to the office and kept pitching him [ideas].
Amanda: This went on for one and a half to two years, didn’t it?
Robin: Two years, yeah. He kept sending all these gifts and all kinds of e-mails and pitching these ridiculous movie ideas to the point where when we went to Comic Con, Marty said, “I’m not going to stay in the hotel under my own name because this guy’s a wacko.” But it turned out to be…me.
Amanda: For a year-and-a-half, Martin was like, “I don’t know who this guy is.” It was “Holden MacPhillips Entertainment and Realty”. He would always spell people’s names wrong. The whole crew was in on it. Our network executives at Syfy knew about it. A lot of our distributors knew about it. It was this massive practical joke that everyone was in on. Holden MacPhillips would say things like, “I just had a meeting with Erik Estrada. Well, we met in line at Starbucks, but…” It was hilarious. It was the funniest thing I’d ever seen.
Robin: He pitched movie ideas like Gingko Balboa, which was another entry in the Rocky franchise where Rocky is on a distant planet in the future, and his brain has been put into the body of a fighting robot.
Amanda: The crew was in on it. That was our biggest, best practical joke.

I was actually laughing out loud... A LOT! I find things funny, but I don't often feel the need to actually make noise about it... but this? SHEER AWESOME!

I had a great time in Warsaw and now [info]fojbe left this morning *sniffles* Mum and I took her to the airport at 5:30am this morning (when I got home I fell back asleep until 11:00am!). So now I can catch up with my computer stuff and shows!

I've sadly given up on Chuck, Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty this year. :( I just seemed to lose interest and I have so many shows to watch that it doesn't really bother me very much.

Warehouse 13: still loving it! :D But for some reason I have to be in a certain frame of mind to watch it... I think it's my favorite show this year though!

AND OMG! I added Eddie McClintock on Facebook and he not only friended me, but he sent me a personal message! EEEEE!!! Check it out:

Melrose Place: I watched about 15 minutes of it and gave up... ugh! AWFUL. I didn't care about any of the characters, they all annoyed me and everything about it just seemed to get on my nerves. I was disappointed because I love 90210 and was hoping it would be similar.

The Beautiful Life: was ok I guess. It caught my attention and I enjoyed the first episode but I didn't love it. Is it me, or is Mischa Barton's character almost exactly like Marissa on The OC? I'm starting to suspect that she can't act and just says her lines like she herself would say them. I'm willing to give it another go though, maybe it will get better.

Glee: the third episode is currently downloading, but so far I'm really enjoying it! When I was in Dallas I got a 'Gleek' t-shirt in Hot Topic and I was the first one ever to buy it! Glee really does remind me of Popular, but it's aimed at a younger audience I think, I felt awkward watching Popular with my Dad in the room when I was younger, but Glee I don't think that I would.

90210: If Adrianna and Navid break up I'm through with it. They're the only characters I really care about (isn't Jessica Lowndes so damn beautiful this season? I keep just staring at her gorgeousness!). Annie is the MOST annoying character ever and I'm fed up of Silver's whining. I like Naomi most of the time, but sometimes she gets on my nerves too.

Bones: and saving the best until last... Bones is my SQUEE show, the one that I'm really caring the most about and have to watch first no matter what! The first episode ripped my heart out with it's adorableness! I hope things continue this way for the rest of the season, though I didn't like the sound of things at the end of the episode.

Really looking forward to Sanctuary, House, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice! Anything I'm missing?

Darlings, has anyone written any Stargate fic while I was away that I absolutely have to read? I'm trying to catch up with all of the news - I just read the awesome new Robin Dunne interview bwahahaha I love it:

Q: Do either of you get seasick?
Amanda: No, but we did have these weird moments when we came onto land. They let us onto land for lunch, and we had these weird moments of looking like we were like drunken sailors.
Robin: Some of us were drunken, actually.

Very much looking forward to Part 2. Here is Part 1 if you haven't read it already.

So... did I miss anything else important?
